The results of individuals who took part in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) have been made public by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The assessment (UTME), of which 64,624 results are presently being examined.
Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, the board registrar, said this on Monday during a press conference in Bwari.
According to Mr. Oloyede, 1,989,668 candidates signed up for the exams, which were administered in 774 computer-based test centers throughout 118 locations (CBT).
Out of the candidates who were registered, 1,904,109 took the exam, and 80,810 did not show up, according to the registrar.
He emphasized that investigations were being conducted on 64,624 results for a variety of reasons, including procedural investigations (4,594), prima facie confirmed exam malpractice (78), and verification (2,896).
He stated that center-based investigations involving 57,056 candidates in 18 centers around the nation were among the other outcomes being looked into.
Twelve in Edo, three in Akwa Ibom, two in Delta, and one in Kwara state were among the eighteen centers designated for the investigation.

With a few exceptions that account for a very small portion of the incidents that were reported last year, the Board observed a nearly zero infraction scenario in the 2024 UTME.
"The board is ready to build on the achievements reported, and this is encouraging," he stated.
In his study of the findings, Mr. Oloyede stated that 77,070 candidates and 8,401 candidates, or 0.5% of the total, scored 300 and higher.
4.2 percent of those who scored 250 or higher.
3,164 people with impairments were registered out of the total. Comparing this year to last, the enrollment of PLWDs has increased by 36.2%.
"The Board is making available the 1,842,464 candidates' results today. Investigations into 64,624 findings are ongoing," he stated.
He continued, saying that the board had decided not to release the name of the top applicant to prevent the Mmesomma scandal from happening again when it was examined in 2023.
The registrar stated that during the exam, there were 25 hiccups in the sessions, which only affected 150 out of the 9,156 sessions in 95 of the
774 centres.
Only one center, Makama School of Technology, Old Motor Park, along FCCE Road, Bishik, Kano State, was delisted for subpar performance, he said, adding that the impacted sessions were swiftly rescheduled.
He asked applicants to text UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 on April 30 commencing at 7:00 a.m. to view their results.
